After two years working in a law firm specializing in criminal and media law, Laura moved to a leading environmental NGO.

During her nine years as head of legal affairs, Laura honed her legal skills and developed her litigation strategy.

Laura navigated the intricacies of criminal law as it pertains to associations, defending their members and fighting against SLAPP suits (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation). She also handled legal actions for financial offenses and non-compliance with safety regulations, particularly in the oil and nuclear sectors. She initiated the first legal precedents for breaches of due diligence in the forestry sector.

A true field expert, Laura also undertook missions abroad, notably in Algeria and Mauritania to support detainees, in Luxembourg during the extradition proceedings of a dual national, and more recently in the Balkans and Armenia to train future judges, lawyers, and investigators in environmental law.

Finally, at the beginning of 2025, Laura decided to return to her legal practice and set up her own practice.

Her new areas of expertise? Raw material supply law, which presents environmental challenges, including the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and nuclear safety law related to the construction of nuclear facilities.

Alongside her legal practice, Laura tutors at the Sciences Po Paris Law Clinic and enjoys trail running to clear her head.
