The purpose of this conversation: to understand the context of your matter, identify your needs and understand your constraints, so we can tailor our support as precisely as possible.
This support may take the form of:
-
a fully drafted legal opinion,
-
a summary note (memo, bullet points),
-
a review of a deed or pleadings (annotations, proposed additions or amendments),
-
a reinforcement of arguments,
-
the drafting of a contractual clause,
-
or any other format suited to your need.
We can act on a single point of law, on an overall situation, or on a flow of matters raising a common issue, in both advisory work and litigation.
2.
Then, we select the Secondant(s) according to your needs and prepare our proposal with them
For each matter, we build a team made up, as needed, of specialists from several disciplines and complementary profiles of lawyers and academics.
Note that the number of Secondants does not increase the cost of the service. On the contrary, each profile is chosen for its targeted expertise, which helps optimise the matter's budget.
3.
We get back to you with a tailored support proposal.
Our proposal systematically includes a maximum fixed fee, the deadline, and the profiles who will work on your assignment.
We will discuss this proposal with you as much as necessary and, if needed, with your clients.
4.
Throughout the processing of your case, your main contact will be a Seconda partner.
Our aim is to manage the entire client relationship so that the Secondants can focus on the legal aspects. However, if the matters requires it, exchangess can be arranged with them.
And if an unforeseen issue arises during the assignment, we will stop and and inform you immediately.
Then, you can either choose to handle it yourself or we will send you a supplementary proposal.
