Author of a thesis entitled “The Role of Good Faith in Contract Law: An Analytical Essay in Light of English and European Law,” Sandrine practiced for several years as a lawyer, both at the court and with barristers before choosing to dedicate herself to teaching and research.

After passing the competitive examination for professorship in private law, Sandrine taught at the University of Pau for two years before joining the University of Toulouse in 2017, where she directed the Master 2 program in Comparative & European Private International Law until 2022. Today, Sandrine is the Director of the Institute of Judicial Studies.

Sandrine's areas of expertise? Contract law and corporate law. Last but not least, since her time at Cardiff University and her Master 2 in Comparative Law at Paris 1, Sandrine has cultivated her comparative law expertise, with a particular interest in English contract law.

A small selection of questions Sandrine has explored: the influence of English law on French law regarding sanctions for breach of contract, the business assets of sole proprietors, the concept of significant imbalance in general law, and securing subcontracting agreements.
