— Thesis: Personal Property
Master's Degree in General Private Law, Panthéon-Assas

Between practice and theory, Sophie has decided not to choose.

Author of a thesis in property law and a lawyer at the Paris Bar, she has been handling cases before the Court of Cassation for fifteen years in all branches of civil law, particularly family law and property law. Financial consequences of divorce, the treatment of life insurance policies in inheritance law, adverse possession of easements of view, calculation of compensation in cases of construction on separate land with joint funds—these are just some of the issues Sophie tackles daily.

Sophie also taught at the university level for many years, specializing in contract law and family law, both property and non-property-related.

She is also trained in the communication methods developed by Marshall B. Rosenberg and is developing mediation skills.

A passionate traveler, Sophie is always, in law as in life, seeking exchanges and new horizons.

Sophie practices family law and property law.
