Sophie began her legal career by working for five years alongside a lawyer specializing in litigation. She solidified her foundations in civil law and civil procedure, while honing her skills in drafting legal briefs, with a particular interest in civil liability cases, especially medical malpractice and health law.

This experience confirmed her aptitude for legal reasoning and technique.

However, Sophie realized she wanted more direct client interaction and to handle cases holistically. She then decided to move to the court side of the law and joined law firms where, drawing on her experience in appeals to the Court of Cassation, she focused her practice on personal injury claims (road traffic accidents/accidents in daily life), medical malpractice law, and, more generally, health law.

Drawing on this dual experience, Sophie established her practice in 2024, initially on her own, before partnering in early 2025 with her long-time colleague Agathe Niqueux to combine their complementary expertise in health law.

From compensation for the after-effects of traffic accidents and procedural strategies in medical liability cases to techniques for quantifying and settling damages, Sophie navigates the various compensation and liability regimes with ease. She explains their intricacies with precision and clarity to her clients and colleagues alike, particularly during the training sessions she regularly leads at HEDAC.
