With a dual degree in German and French law and a doctorate in Franco-German comparative law, Antje handles both languages with equal fluency and possesses a deep understanding of both cultures and legal systems.
Antje advises major international companies, investment funds, and family businesses on both sides of the Rhine on all their corporate and commercial law matters: cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, distribution law, compliance, and contract drafting and negotiation.
Antje's expertise has been recognized with numerous awards. In 2014, she received the "German Lawyers' Prize," awarded jointly by the Paris Bar Association, the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein), and the Federal Bar Association (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer). In 2023, Antje was ranked "Top Lawyer (Mergers & Acquisitions)" by Wirtschaftswoche, a leading German weekly business magazine.
Antje is also deeply involved in the professional community, serving as President of the Deutscher Anwaltsverein Frankreich (Association of German Lawyers in France) and as a member of the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and the Franco-German Open Commission of the Bar Association.
Finally, Antje regularly teaches German business law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
And when her schedule allows, Antje enjoys relaxing at the opera, listening to Verdi, Puccini, or Richard Strauss.
