Bérénice Bauduin
Senior Lecturer

— Thesis: The Constitutionalization of Labor Law: A Study of a Contemporary Dynamic
Master 2 in Social Law, Panthéon-Sorbonne University
Master 2 in General Private Law, Panthéon-Sorbonne University
After defending her doctoral thesis, "The Constitutionalization of Labor Law: A Study of a Contemporary Dynamic," which was awarded the prestigious André Isoré Prize from the Chancellery of the Universities of Paris, the prize from the Bar Association of the Council of State and the Court of Cassation, and the prize from the French Association of Labor Law, Bérénice was appointed lecturer at the Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Alongside her academic activities, Bérénice decided to deepen her expertise by immersing herself in the very courts whose decisions she had analyzed for her research. This led Bérénice to gain experience in the technical aspects of handling cases before the Social Chamber of the Court of Cassation, working alongside a lawyer admitted to the Courts of Cassation. She then joined the Constitutional Council for three years as a project manager specializing in priority preliminary rulings on constitutionality (QPC). This experience further refined Bérénice's understanding of constitutional litigation specific to labor law. There, she also developed broader expertise in fundamental rights and freedoms and honed her skills in the techniques and intricacies of the priority preliminary ruling on constitutionality. Bérénice is also the author of a booklet in the Dalloz legal encyclopedia on "constitutional labor law."
And whenever she has a free moment, Bérénice picks up her pencils to wander through Parisian museums and sketch the works on display.
Bérénice practices in the areas of labor law, criminal labor law, and constitutional law.
