Author of a thesis entitled “Property Deprivation as a Sanction for Counterfeiting: An Essay on the Fate of Counterfeit Goods,” Julien is currently a lecturer at Toulouse Capitole University. There, he teaches intellectual property law in its various branches, and, within the Master 2 program in Intellectual Property Law, he teaches counterfeiting actions.

Julien's expertise extends beyond the lecture hall. He contributed to the overview of trademark law published in the Dalloz Collection and recently spoke at conferences at Japanese universities on the topics of copyright and artificial intelligence, and on the concept of originality in French copyright law.

It's no surprise that Julien chose intellectual property law, given his passion for music and photography, and the pleasure of hearing him strum his guitar.
