Lucie Mayer, a professor of private law, currently teaches at Panthéon-Assas University, where she co-directs the Master 2 program in Litigation, Arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She is the author of a doctoral thesis, awarded the prestigious André Isoré Prize and the Henri Capitant Prize from the Chancellery of the Universities of Paris, entitled “Acts of the Trial and the Theory of the Legal Act.”
She is also the co-author, with Serge Guinchard, Cécile Chainais, and Frédérique Ferrand, of two books on civil procedure, the entry on “nullity” in the Dalloz Civil Procedure Encyclopedia, and numerous articles on complex subjects, from the constituent elements of a settlement agreement to the extension of the interruption of the statute of limitations from one action to another, including interrogatory actions and the intricacies of appeals.
Lucie Mayer is a member of the editorial board of the Revue des procédures (Luxembourg) and the Centre de Recherche sur la Justice et le règlement des conflits (Panthéon-Assas).
