— Thesis: The Role of the National Judge in the European Judicial Area, from the Internal Market to Civil Cooperation
Master 2 in International and European Trade Litigation, Paris Nanterre University
Legal Translator, ISIT
Marjolaine doesn't just practice European law, she embodies it: Marjolaine holds dual French and Italian citizenship, earned her undergraduate degree between France and Scotland, and wrote her doctoral thesis in Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg on the role of the national judge within the European judicial area. Today, Marjolaine is a lecturer in private law at Nanterre University, where she teaches, among other subjects, private international law and European consumer law.
Because Marjolaine didn't want to limit herself to European standards, she delved into the realm of constitutional law, working for over three years at the Constitutional Council as a QPC (Priority Preliminary Ruling on Constitutionality) advisor. Do you suspect that the law at issue in your case infringes upon a fundamental freedom or right? You've come to the right place.
And don't worry, even though she acted in plays for ten years, she's not here to put on an act.
Marjolaine practices private international law, European Union law, and consumer law.
