Marlise's heart is torn between France and Lebanon.

Author of a thesis entitled "The Means Available to Consumers in Case of Non-Performance of a Sales Contract Relating to Goods Sold: A Comparative Study of French and Lebanese Law," written as part of an agreement between the University of Poitiers and the Lebanese University, Marlise holds dual nationality and is equally adept at navigating the French Civil Code and the Lebanese Code of Obligations and Contracts.

Marlise has also led tutorials in the law of obligations at the University of Poitiers, and later in property law at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon. Currently, she teaches the consumer law course at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, as well as the introductory law and law of obligations courses and tutorials at Notre-Dame University of Louaizé.

Marlise practices contract law, civil law, and consumer law, both French and Lebanese.
