A professor of private law at the University of Toulouse, where he also serves as Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Communication and Director of the Master's program in Real Estate Law, Moussa is also an associate professor at the Faculty of Law of Laval University (Canada) and academic coordinator of the Economics and Social Administration (AES) degree program offered in Vanuatu.

A seasoned expert in contract law and a seasoned civil lawyer, Moussa has chosen real estate law as his area of expertise, exploring all its facets, from residential, commercial, and agricultural leases to the liability of real estate professionals, including property sales, construction contracts, and condominium law.

Among his hundreds of publications are the 2024 Lease Code and Condominium Code (Dalloz), the Sale of Real Estate (Lexis Pratique, Lexis Nexis), the Concise Construction Law Guide (Le Moniteur Paris), as well as numerous articles and case commentaries.

Moussa heads the Professions section of AJDI (Actualité Juridique Droit Immobilier - Real Estate Law) at Dalloz. He is a member of the research council of the Institute for Legal Studies, Urban Planning, Construction and the Environment (IEJUC), as well as, in Senegal, of the scientific committee of the Journal of Law and Political Science at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis and the Journal of Law at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.
