His doctoral thesis on procedural time limits in procedural law, defended at the University of Côte d’Azur in a joint supervision program with the University of Dschang, perfectly illustrates Pierre-Claver’s dual legal background, developed between Cameroon and France, as well as his keen interest in the fundamental issues of access to justice and the proper administration of justice raised by procedural rules.

For four years, Pierre-Claver leveraged this experience to divide his teaching between the Catholic Institute of Bafoussam, the University of Côte d’Azur, and the University of Lorraine.

Since the start of the 2023 academic year, Pierre-Claver has been affiliated with the University of Paris Sorbonne Nord, where he teaches, among other subjects, OHADA business law and private international law.

In parallel, Pierre-Claver has published numerous articles and case commentaries, as well as contributing to edited volumes and conferences on topics as varied and significant as the place of incest in sub-Saharan Africa, delaying tactics in legal proceedings, the circulation of French law in sub-Saharan Africa, the state of emergency as a response to climate risk, and the claimant's lack of funds in arbitration.

Since 2020, Pierre-Claver has also been a contributor to Lextenso, where he writes in particular about the OHADA Common Court of Justice and Arbitration.

Since January 2025, Pierre-Claver has been a lawyer at the Nice Bar.
