After obtaining his doctorate from Panthéon-Assas University in 2008 with a thesis entitled "Restrictions on the Right to Dispose of Assets," Sébastien continued teaching civil law and worked on appeals to the Court of Cassation as an associate for lawyers practicing before the Courts of Cassation.

Recruited as a lecturer at Grenoble-Alpes University, Sébastien moved to Grenoble.

Sébastien's areas of expertise? Property law, contract law, security law—in short, estate law, as defined by the Civil Code, considered in isolation or in its relationship to fundamental rights and freedoms. Whatever the case, wherever it may be, Sébastien will delve into its intricacies.

Whether on mountain trails or in his professional life, Sébastien maintains the measured pace of someone for whom the journey is as important as the destination.
